This firm operates a commercially sponsored community service program called Lifeline, which distributes anti-substance abuse materials to employers, medical facilities, religious organizations and local schools. Some of the materials include drug prevention worksheets and films, anti-drinking and driving posters and related items. The firm also operates STUDENT LIFELINE, which is aimed at schools. Students who participate in this program carry an identification card which makes them eligible for free rides home in case of emergency, with a taxi service paid for by LIFELINE. Other emergency service programs include GOLD LIFELINE, which is extended to adults and KIDDY KAB which provides youngsters with transportation from school or other destinations when parents are unavailable. LIFELINE also publishes a safety coloring and activity book dealing with the primary causes of injury to small children. Student Lifeline's National Id Kit folders, containing forensic evidence to assist in a missing or abducted child investigation are distributed to schools via law enforcement agencies and commercial distributions at no cost via sponsorship programs. AMERICAN STUDENT BOOKS Division publishes homework assignment notebooks for public and private schools nationwide.
