Animal Medical Center (AMC) provides veterinary care for all animals in need, supports research to attain better health for pets, and provides learning opportunities in veterinary clinical sciences. The organization's Bobst Hospital provides full service care to pets. The Margaret M. Caspary Research Institute investigates disease in pets and collaborates with scientists and physicians to study disease processes common to animals and humans. The Institute for Postgraduate Education provides veterinary and technician training. The organization also offers internships, counseling services, and through its Pet Outreach Program, brings volunteer dogs into centers for homeless teenagers, nursing homes, schools for autistic children, and various other organizations.
