The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Long Island Chapter provides a wide range of direct services and programs to empower and support more than 42,000 people affected by MS in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The Long Island Chapter strives to educate and assist people with MS and their families, professionals, community leaders and the public. Financial assistance, counseling, support groups, and self-help groups are offered to help people gain access to community resources and choose health care professionals and support counseling through referral lists.
