Theater Production: For four decades, MTC'S goals have included producing a season of innovative work with a series of productions as broad as New York itself; encouraging significant new work by creating an environment in which writers and theater today; and nurturing new talent in play-writing, musical composition and directing, acting and design. Education Program: MTC aims to reach young audiences with innovative programs in education and maintain a commitment to cultivating the next generation of theater professionals. using the work on our stages, MTC's education promotes active participation in the arts. This international program offers in-class instruction, student and family matinees, teacher training, internships, and internet based distance learning.
