Programs
 

              
Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation (LIAF) supports programs and services for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and supportive services for their family caregivers residing in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. LIAF's programs offer hope and help to families grappling with Alzheimer's disease by providing social model adult care programs, cognitive stimulation and socialization activities, support groups and counseling for individuals with memory loss and an array of services to support their caregivers (in-home respite, caregiver education, counseling and support groups). These programs assist individuals with Alzheimer's to maintain their independence, safety, and well-being in the community. LIAF also raises public awareness of Alzheimer's through educational workshops, trainings, and its annual Coping and Caring Conference."
