Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center (ADRC) provides a broad range of programs and services for people with the disease, families, care partners, residential care professionals, and professional health care providers. Programs include the Contact Center, a toll-free service, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to families, health care professionals, and the general public across the country, MedicAlert+Safe Return, and a nationwide identification program to assist in the safe and timely return of individuals who have wandered from home.
ADRC's library and resource center is the largest library collection dedicated exclusively to Alzheimer's disease, which provides reference and research services, reading lists, and video guides on Alzheimer-related topics. ADRC's research program is a catalyst for generating new knowledge about Alzheimer's disease and other disorders that cause dementia.
ADRC also provides comprehensive training programs for formal and informal caregivers and offers a number of Support Groups in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
