" Sadie Nash Leadership Project (SNLP) is a leadership education program designed for and with low-income young women, ages 14-22, from New York City and Newark, NJ. Our mission is to strengthen, empower, and equip young women as agents for change in their lives and in the world. By increasing the participation of women in social, political, and economic decision-making, SNLP seeks to question and redefine the nature of leadership and to promote perspectives and practices that are cooperative, accountable, ethical, and effective. SNLP's cutting-edge programs, include: its award-wining Summer Institute; community-based internships; advanced-level fellowships; college prep; and opportunities for organizational stewardship.
