" St. Christopher’s Inn, a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, is a temporary homeless shelter dedicated to the rehabilitation of men in crisis whom we call “Brothers Christopher.” Our mission is to offer a continuum of quality health care services that facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by providing Chemical Dependency Treatment, Primary Health Care, and Temporary housing. We strive to restore the personal dignity of each individual by utilizing a holistic approach in all our programs. No one is ever turned away because of race, religion, or the ability to pay. "

Programs
 

              
The Inn is home to St. Anthony’s Clinic, an OASAS licensed, CARF Accredited Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. The clinic provides a Day Rehabilitation Program with a clinic module available. Primary Health Care Services are provided in our Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center licensed by the New York State Department of Health. St. Christopher’s Inn is proud to provide the very best of care to each client. Our temporary Shelter provides 177 beds for men in need. In addition to providing food and shelter at no cost, the Inn offers an exceptional chemical dependency treatment program, which includes outstanding supportive services such as yoga, art therapy and vocational assistance as well as a family program and a GED program. St. Christopher’s Inn also offers Transitional Housing as an aftercare option in White Plains, NY. The transitional house is named “The Brothers Christopher House” and provides 11 beds for men who are transitioning out of treatment and back into society. Our motto is “Where Hope and Compassion Meet” and every day, within every program or service we provide, our community dedicates itself to bringing these words to life.
