Neighbors Together fights hunger and poverty with three interrelated programs: the Community Cafe soup kitchen provides hot, nutritious meals to 500 people a day to ease the immediate crisis of hunger; the Empowerment Program case management services help clients access needed social services in order to stabilize their income, housing, general health and mental health; and the Community Action Program holds weekly meetings to educate members on public policies impacting hunger and poverty.
