The program’s on-site workshops, tutoring, and trainings help residents build the skills needed for acquiring and sustaining employment. Jericho’s family Reunification Program works with the agency’s non-custodial parents to help them reestablish and build healthy relationships with their children. Its family Supportive Apartment Program provides critical housing placement assistance and transitional support services to families still residing in the New York City shelter system. Through its extended network of landlords and affordable housing developers, Jericho is helping families identify the critical affordable housing necessary to break their cycles of homelessness. Jericho’s On With Life Program provides the critical support residents need to identify affordable housing and successfully make the transition from supported life at Jericho to independent living. After graduation, counselors continue to provide extensive services for a minimum of two years, providing significant support during that critical transition to independent living."
