Programs
 

              
YES was founded in 1987 to serve the youth and their families in the hamlet of West Islip, New York. In 1991, YES expanded their services to include the neighboring communities of Bay Shore, Brentwood and Central Islip. Over the past two decades, YES has served over two hundred thousand youth and families. Our programs and services are inclusive of all youth and their families. Programs include Violence and Gang Prevention and building Healthy Bodies. Services and programs include:daily after school programs for 6th and 7th graders in all four communities, youth discussion groups, coffee houses and teen socials, youth employment and work readiness, etc. All programs are free of charge.
