Sanctuary for Families (SFF) meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.


Sanctuary for Families (Sanctuary) offers a broad range of shelter, legal, clinical, and economic empowerment services to adults and youth affected by domestic violence, sex trafficking, and related forms of gender violence. Sanctuary also engages in extensive outreach, education, and advocacy in order to address the systemic issues that perpetuate the cycle of violence. Last year, Sanctuary provided services to over 10,500 individuals. The Clinical Services program provides counseling, childcare and youth activities, and case management. The Legal Services program offers legal advice, assistance, and representation in cases involving divorce, child custody/visitation, child and spousal support, immigration and prosecution of batterers in criminal matters. The Shelter Services provides safe refuge and transitional shelter for domestic violence victims and their children. The Economic Empowerment Program provides intensive career training and related support services in order to better equip clients to establish stable, independent lives free from violence.
