Riverdale Senior Services provides comprehensive service to adults age 60-100 and over and their families. RSS has been providing these services to the community for almost 40 years. Offering a wide range of wellness, educational and recreation activities, including both mental and physical health related services that cover informational workshops and individual counseling. A variety of classes are offered including: exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, sculpture, watercolor, bridge, chess, and creative writing and computer classes. RSS offers transportation and an Adult Day program for people with cognitive loss (such as Alzheimer’s disease). Riverdale Senior Services also serves a nutritious homemade meal daily, including an additional take home meal for the weekend.
