The organization also advocates for domestic and international policies that respond to the threat of terrorism including support for the 9/11 Commission Recommendations. The organization’s website includes information regarding legislative and policy awareness issues, mental health and wellness resources, news articles, and commemorative activities for 9/11 remembrances. In addition, the website hosts an online support group facilitated by an expert on bereavement issues. Families of September 11 also publishes a seasonal newsletter for caregivers of children affected by 9/11 events.
